A “Ferzo,” in Italian, is a patch of fabric that is stitched together with others to create a sail. The union of the finest viticultural “patches” in Abruzzo gives life to Ferzo, a singular label which embraces the best of region’s indigenous grape varieties
The hand-harvested grapes are softly pressed. The must is then decanted and fermented at a controlled temperature to develop the wine’s aromatics.
The most suitable areas for winemaking give life to “Ferzo”, a single great label, that includes the best of the native vines of Abruzzo.
These wines grow out of small-scale, highly selected viticultural operations in the discerning hands of local vintners, withe the objective of promoting the autochthonous Abruzzo grape variety all over the world.
